📌Can I make a donation anonymously?

You can make a donation for a campaign of your choice completely anonymously for the other users and for the donated person, as you are not anonymous only for the purposes of reporting and accounting of the "SOS 4 YOU" Foundation.

In the process of donating money for a specific campaign, you need to select the checkbox that you want to anonymously support the selected campaign.

📌Can I support a selected campaign monthly with a certain amount, how do I do it?

If you want to support a campaign monthly with a certain amount, you can do so by signing up for a monthly donation for your chosen cause, using the functionality of the platform. In the process of filling in your data, you must select the "Make my donation monthly" checkbox.
Monthly support can be stopped at any time by you by visiting the PROFILE section after logging in.

In case of circumstances regarding change of your data on your bank card, it is necessary to update them in the PROFILE section.

📌What are the fees for a bank card donation and a bank transfer donation?

The fastest and easiest way to support a cause is with a bank card. The card operator, which processes the payments, deducts a fee for the transfer. When using European bank cards the fee is 1.4% + 0.30 €, and for non-European bank cards - 2.9% + 0.30 €.

In case of a donation made by bank transfer, the fees are according to the transfer fee of your servicing bank.

📌How do I know if I have successfully supported my chosen campaign?

Upon successful payment using a bank card, you as a donor will automatically enter the list of donors to the campaign. On the right side of the campaign page you will see your names as a donor, as well as the donated amount.
In case you have chosen to make the donation anonymous, it will be reflected in the same place on the page of the selected campaign, but without showing your names as a donor.

In the preferred method of donation by bank transfer, your name as a donor will be reflected in the campaign on the Platform, after the bank transfer ordered by you is reflected in the bank accounts of the "SOS 4 YOU" Foundation. The moment we report the transfer, we will add you as a donor who supported the campaign.

For bank transfers, the processing takes from 3-5 working days, and it is possible that the recording of an international bank transfer will take longer, depending on the different countries and banks. Contact your bank for more information.

📌I tried to support an important cause, but the payment failed. What to do?

In case the card operator servicing the bank card payments returns a reply for a failed payment, the same shall indicate the reason for this when you receive a message for a failed payment. The reasons may be different - reached the limit of payments for a period, insufficient availability in your account, error in entering the data from the card. Please try again to make sure there is no typo.

If the payment fails again, you can try another bank card. You can also contact your servicing bank to get more information because payment has been declined if you are sure of the availability of your account and the exact details you have entered.
And if you prefer bank transfer and have active banking, you can use this method to support your chosen campaign.

📌Is it safe to use a bank card to support the campaign I have chosen?

The security in the processing of the payments through which you help selected campaigns is 100%!

The platform has an official SSL certificate issued by Sectigo (formerly COMODO CA) installed. This means that the communication between you and the site WWW.SOS4YOU.ORG is encrypted as the transmitted information and other interactions between you and the site are unreadable to third parties. Having an official SSL certificate means that the site you see is the original site, not a page copy of the original, related to questionable Internet activities.

The servers of the Platform do not store the data from your bank card used when making a donation. The licensed international card operator processing payments provides 256-bit encryption of your information.

📌What tax benefits can I receive if I support a campaign of my choice?

In case of a successful donation for a campaign of your choice, you will receive a certificate for a donation issued to your account in the Platform, which you can use for a tax rebate when paying your tax liabilities. Consult your accountant or lawyer for the exact percentage.

📌How exactly do I make a donation by bank transfer?

Once you have selected the campaign you wish to support, in the donation process, select the option to do so by bank transfer. When you select this option, you will see the bank details of the "SOS 4 YOU" Foundation. You can copy by hand, copy them if you use a computer or mobile device, or just take them as a photo. Then you need to visit a bank branch of your bank, where you can provide the previously recorded data and make a bank transfer. In case you use the option for active banking from your bank, you can order the bank transfer quickly and easily without visiting a bank branch.

IMPORTANT! Please note that your donation will only be reflected when we receive confirmation from the bank for the transfer of the amount.

📌How can I create a Campaign?

Campaigns are created in order to raise funds for important personal or public needs, in support of a charitable cause.
You can create a Campaign after you have registered in the Platform. Without registration the creation of a Campaign is not possible.

On the main page of the Platform you will find the START CAMPAIGN NOW button. Fill in the necessary information by choosing a short and clear name of the Campaign, try to be as comprehensive, specific and candid as possible in the description of the Campaign, so that each potential donor can clearly understand the problem that needs support. Use good quality photos in the right size. If you have a video, you can upload it to your own YouTube account and then provide an exact link to the video when you created the Campaign so that it can be seen in the Campaign.
It is important to attach scanned copies of all documents proving the need for a free fundraiser for your cause.

The created Campaign passes through the approval of a Moderator and at the initial moment is not visible in the CAMPAIGNS section, the Moderator reviews the campaign for irregularities and if there are none, he publishes it and becomes visible to all visitors of the Platform.
The Creator of the Campaign has the opportunity to edit at a later stage the already created and published Campaign, which are not subject to approval, but at any time a check can be made whether it meets the Terms of Use.

📌Why is it important to describe well and fully my story to the Campaign I am creating?

First of all, one of the most important conditions for a story to be well written is when it lacks spelling mistakes. Therefore, always check your texts before publishing them.

Describing your story in volume and completeness, extensively and most of all sincerely, you will touch everyone who reads it in a way that everyone will understand the importance of their potential own contribution in support of your cause.

Tell the audience what you need funds for, how they will help solve the problem, what exactly the donated funds will be spent on, how, when and where.
Explain why raising funds means a lot to you.

📌How much should I set as a goal for the Campaign I created?

If you are not initially sure how much money will be needed, you can enter the amount you have from documents or preliminary information.

📌Are there mandatory documents for fundraisers?

In the case of a fundraising campaign for medical treatment, the following documents are required:

- Copy of ID card
- A copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the identity card of a parent or guardian for children under 18;
- Free text application with a brief description of the case and contact details;
- Contract for an open donation account for non-cash and targeted spending of the funds under it;
- Statement on the status of the donation account at the time of application;
- Medical documentation issued not more than 6 months ago, certifying the disease, the condition and the diagnosis made;
- Providing an offer from a clinic, an offer from a travel agency, a pro forma invoice for medical devices or medicines; something else. They certify that these are the means necessary for treatment;

In the case of fundraising for campaigns other than medical purposes, documents proving the need for funding are required, which are subject to approval by the Foundation.

The Foundation may request additional documents if necessary.

📌Until when is a Campaign relevant for fundraising?

The launch of the Campaign on the Platform of the "SOS 4 YOU" Foundation is not bound by a specific deadline.

A verified and published Campaign is active in the CAMPAIGNS section either until the set goal is achieved, namely reaching the required amount indicated by its Creator, or until the Creator of the Campaign, regardless of the circumstances, personally stops his campaign. This is done after you log in, go to ACCOUNT - My Campaigns, open your campaign that you have chosen to delete, and click on the red STOP CAMPAIGN.

Once stopped, you will not be able to resume this campaign. From the moment of its suspension by its Creator or from the moment of reaching the set amount as a goal, the process of making a donation is not possible under this Campaign.

📌What should I do when the funds for my Campaign are raised?

As soon as the funds under your Campaign have reached the set amount as a goal, the process of accepting a donation under it will be automatically terminated.

It is important that when this small victory is achieved, you share an update to your Campaign in which you can send your thanks to all the people involved who have become part of your cause and helped to raise funds quickly.

📌Who can be a recipient of donations?

The beneficiary of a campaign can be any person over 18 years of age, as well as any minor represented by a parent / guardian, certified by the relevant documents.

When creating a Campaign, it is necessary to establish your identity, as well as to provide documents certifying the need to raise funds.
If it is a medical problem, it would be an epicrisis, a pro forma invoice for treatment or a contract-offer for treatment.

In the case of non-medical causes, the necessary documents can be a pro forma invoice (and not only), for the purchase of necessary equipment, materials, etc.

📌Can I delete the Campaign I created?

Yes, you can do this, after logging in, go to PROFILE - My Campaigns.

📌How can I thank a donor who helped my cause?

When a donor supports your Campaign, the donor appears in the donor list. Once logged in, you have the option to select SEND MESSAGE from the list of donors, under the name of the donor. In this message, you can express your gratitude for this highly moral act of support. In this way, you encourage donors to continue to help build a united and solidary society that deals with problems through mutual assistance and support.

📌In order to create a campaign as a person in need, do I have to sign a contract?

Any person in need who wishes to create a Campaign on the Platform of the "SOS 4 YOU" Foundation, after reviewing the submitted documents and subsequent approval (within 1 working day), signs a financing agreement with the Foundation. This contract regulates the relationship between the Beneficiary and the Foundation, as well as the methods of payment and reporting.

Once your campaign has been reviewed and approved for publication, our collaborator will email you a funding agreement.

The completed and signed contract is sent back to the Foundation scanned to support@sos4you.org.

📌Why do I need to add updates to the campaign I created?

By updating your campaign, you provide an opportunity for everyone who has chosen to support you to learn about developments in the case. In this, the donors themselves will see their share of help, which is given from a good heart.

📌Why is it important to use good quality photos when creating a Campaign?

Photos are the first thing that grabs the attention of people who see the campaign. The photos, combined with a comprehensive description of the cause for which the funds are raised, are the most important thing that will give the necessary information to any potential donor and help open his heart, giving you support on the way to solving the problem.

📌How can I promote my Campaign to get the fastest results?

Once you have created a campaign and it has been approved by the Foundation and published in the CAMPAIGNS section, you (and not only you) can use the power of social media to share your campaign and reach the maximum number of people.

You can share on Facebook - on your personal profile wall, you can ask your friends to share the Campaign, you can also share in selected Facebook groups, where reaching a large number of people is easiest and fastest. Regarding sharing in Facebook groups, this almost always happens after the approval of the administrator or moderator of the group, so talk to them first to get their help in promoting the cause.

On the other hand, we from the "SOS 4 YOU" Foundation can also prepare an advertisement for you on Facebook, which will reach a huge number of people. This is the paid advertisement that Facebook offers, and in this connection the costs of its payment to Facebook will be covered by the donations collected for your campaign. To state your desire to start paid advertising, you need to contact us at support@sos4you.org

Not to be overlooked are the other electronic ways, services and platforms to share your campaign in pursuit of the fastest goal of the campaign - namely sharing on Twitter, sharing the link to your campaign to all your Viber contacts, etc.

📌Is there a requirement for the bank account to which I will use the funds raised under my Campaign?

When it comes to raising funds for medical reasons, a mandatory condition for the bank account of the Beneficiary of the Campaign is that it be a donor bank account with non-cash and targeted spending of the funds raised. This ensures that the donor's will will be fulfilled and the funds will be spent on purpose.

In cases of non-medical causes in need of support, the bank account may be non-donor, but before donating funds from the bank accounts of the Foundation "SOS 4 YOU" to the bank account of the beneficiary, documents must be submitted, proving the requested amounts for absorption for the purpose of the campaign.

Without providing such documents, the Foundation will refuse funding.

📌Why is donor trust in you and your campaign important?

The part of support that each donor donates to you is based on trust.

People use this highest side of the soul, namely giving, when they feel your story, when they feel how much you need and how important to you is what you are telling in your campaign.
This is how important it is to be transparent in telling your story, your photos and materials to be absolutely authentic.

Do not leave your campaign without an update to it in any circumstances that arise during the resolution of your issue. Always in the updates inform the donors what has been achieved so far with their help, how funds have been spent, what is ahead, etc.

Answer all the questions honestly and comprehensively, so as not to damage the credibility of your campaign.

📌A campaign has been set up without my consent, what can I do?
